The most common complaint about borrowing is discovering the real cost afterwards. Our position is simple: you should be able to see the total repayable before you agree to anything.
What you see before applying
Every product publishes its amount range, rate and term. The repayment calculator turns those into the two numbers that actually matter: your monthly payment, and the total you will have repaid by the end.
Using the calculator requires no account and has no effect on your credit file.
No penalty for repaying early
Settle at any point and you pay interest only for the period you actually borrowed. Some lenders charge for this. We do not.
What changes the cost
Two things: the amount and the term. A longer term reduces the monthly payment and increases the total interest, because you borrow for longer. Comparing products on the monthly figure alone is how people end up paying more — compare the total repayable.
Common questions
Are there arrangement fees?
Any fee that applies is shown before you commit. If you cannot see it stated, ask us before signing.
Does the rate change during the term?
Your instalment is fixed for the term agreed, so the amount leaving your account does not move.
